Our Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course provides advanced training in the recognition and management of respiratory emergencies, shock, cardiac arrest, and other life threatening emergencies involving infants and children. This course focuses on pediatric assessment, advanced resuscitation skills, airway management, cardiac rhythms, medications, and effective team based response. It is designed for healthcare professionals who care for critically ill or injured pediatric patients, including pediatricians, pediatric nurses, Pediatric ICU and NICU staff, emergency room doctors, emergency room nurses, and paramedics. Upon successful completion, students receive an American Heart Association PALS Provider certification that is valid for two years.
